AGSC to Maintain Repair Standards Under NWRD

With the recent consolidation of the National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA) into the Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC) and the formation of the National Windshield Repair Di-vision (NWRD), the Repair of Laminated Glass Standard (ROLAGS) will move as well.

Additionally, the NWRA had recently developed the Break Identification Standard as well and it will now move to the AGSC, which will serve as secretariat for both ANSI standards, or the combination therefore.

“The ROLAGS and BIS standards would most likely need to be combined into one standard and be submitted to ANSI for approval,” says Troy Mason, NWRD chairperson.

The newly reconstituted ROLAGS committee will hold its next meeting at Auto Glass Week™ in Indianapolis on Thursday, September 5, from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
