Auto Glass Week Preview Day Excites Attendees
When auto glass companies gathered online on January 12 for Auto Glass Week™ Preview Day, they were given a glimpse at what the live event will look like when it is held in Orlando, June 7-9. This included seminars and the ability to visit sponsors on the virtual trade show floor.
A COVID session garnered much attention, as a panel of auto glass experts discussed how their businesses were impacted by the coronavirus, some of the changes they implemented and what they see going forward for the industry.
The session was moderated by AGRR magazine’s editorial director, Tara Taffera, and included Ted Andersen, vice president of franchising at Novus Inc., Jon Las-ki, CEO at City Auto Glass and Peter Brown, president of Tiny & Son’s Auto Glass. (Go to glassBYTEs.com and type in Auto Glass Week Preview Day in the search box for the full story).
A second session detailed every-thing that will be discussed during the ADAS Summit to be held on June 8 in Orlando. In just 30 minutes, the seven panelists fired off information helpful to those still thinking about calibration, and shops who have offered it for years. (For specifics on that session and valuable calibration tips, see page 20.)
