Adhesives
DuPont | BETASEAL™ Express APG
DuPont has launched BETASEAL Express APG, a primerless-to-glass adhesive with a 60-minute minimum drive-away time. It has a high-modulus, non-conductive formula for various temperatures, down to 0 degrees Fahrenheit. DuPont designed the adhesive for technician ease of use and without the need for a primer.

Sika | SikaTack ULTIMATE
Sika has introduced SikaTack ULTIMATE, which is a primerles adhesive with a 30-minute minimum drive-away time. It has an all-in-one modulus and is nonconductive, according to the company. It can also be applied in temperatures as low as 0 degrees Fahrenheit and as high as 120 degrees, Sika says.

Calibration
AirPro Diagnostics | Auggie AIr
AirPro Diagnostic’s latest tool, the Auggie AIr, takes the elements of the company’s already familiar Auggie tool for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration and adds more portability, better battery performance and user-friendly features like an intuitive graphical user interface. According to the company, Auggie AIr can be configured for U.S. and international markets.

Autel | CV ADAS Glass Packages
Autel added three CV ADAS glass packages this year. These allow technicians to use the company’s systems to perform static or dynamic calibrations on commercial vehicles classes 3-5 and 6-8. The packages, which include Autel’s MaxiSYS MS909CV advanced diagnostic and ADAS calibration tablet for commercial vehicles with one year of free software updates, can be used by new or existing Autel ADAS equipment owners.

Pilkington North America and CarCal™ Mobile Experts | Opti-Aim Z5 ADAS Calibration and Diagnostic Tool | Opti-Aim Magnetic Target Set | Opti-Aim Hub Alignment Fixture | CarCal Stand
Pilkington’s Opti-Aim brand collaborated with CarCal Mobile Experts to offer a portable calibration kit. The kit includes an Opti-Aim Z5 ADAS Calibration and Diagnostic Tool, an Opti-Aim Magnetic Target Set, an Opti-Aim Hub Alignment Fixture and a CarCal Stand.
CarCal designed the stand to be compact and lightweight while remaining durable and steady for precise work.

Portable ADAS | Calibration Stand
Portable ADAS designed its new calibration stand for ease of use and cost-effectiveness. It is a static calibration system including full-size targets not printed on magnets that breaks down easily into 3-foot sections. The targets and mounting brackets are not proprietary, so users can obtain up-to-date versions more easily.

RJ Calibrations | Rapid Center
According to RJ Calibrations, its new Rapid Center kit helps solo calibration technicians align the vehicle thrust line, steering and suspension and body center line easily and precisely. The tool is also designed to compensate for uneven floors when performing ADAS calibrations. Rapid Center works with any ADAS calibration scan tool, according to RJ Calibrations.

Marcy Auto Glass Products | Quantum Moldings
Marcy Auto Glass Products is producing what it refers to as “the next generation of universal mouldings.” Quantum Moldings are made from a sustainable compound with zero greenhouse gass emissions content and are designed to lay flat on glass with sharp or tight corners, regardless of temperature. The mouldings have a satin finish and don’t require butyl to install, though Marcy Auto Glass Products notes that technicians should still prime them.

Meritool LLC | 6000 Series 20V Cordless Dispenser
Meritool has debuted its new 6000 Series 20V cordless dispenser. According to the company, it is a light and powerful dispenser wholly designed for an auto glass technician’s use, according to the company. The company says the tool’s speed control enables smooth bead control across speed and dispensing temperature ranges. The 6000 Series 20V cordless dispenser is available in cartridge and foil pack versions.

The PipeKnife Company | Adhesive Adapter Kits
While The PipeKnife Company already had an adapter for specific older Ryobi adhesive dispenser models, it is introducing a new series of adapters for the Ryobi 18 V cordless adhesive dispenser. The company’s new kits can adapt 465- and 600-milliliter sausage tubes of adhesive and will include gear racks, adapter plugs, plungers, handles, plastic barrels and tube caps.

SRP Products introduced Velocity CR-007, a contaminant removal system. It targets natural and industrial contaminants to create an extra-clean surface for optimal bonding during windshield installation. Velocity CR-007 has three parts. SRP Products designed Velocity CR-007-A to tackle contaminants from nature, such as pollen, dirt and tree sap. Velocity CR-007-B handles industrial contaminants. Velocity CR-007-X removes adhesives left behind by encapsulated windshields or plastic-framed glass.
