Code of Ethics for Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC) Members and Registered Member Companies
Preliminary Statement
This Code of Ethics has been created to establish the highest standard of professionalism and integrity within the auto glass replacement industry. The following rules of conduct and ethics shall apply to all AGSC Registered Member Companies and Members including but not limited to the auto glass technician, management and ownership.
AGSC Registered Member Companies and Members Shall:
- Adhere to the ANSI/AGSC/AGRSS™ approved Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standard.
- Promote to others and support the ANSI/AGSC/AGRSS Standard and practices.
- Fully support the AGSC programs designed to promote compliance with the ANSI/AGSC/AGRSS Standard, including its independent third-party validation audit process.
- Be fully aware of and abide by the Federal, State and Local legal requirements governing the operations of Auto Glass replacement shops.
- Promptly fulfill contractual obligations.
- Recognize the responsibility to take appropriate steps to encourage other glass shops to continue to adhere to the ANSI/AGSC/AGRSS Standard.
