Auto Glass Week Preview Sept/Oct 2020

Dear Industry Colleague,

Nothing is more important right now than industry education. New and challenging technology makes it necessary and a tougher business environment demands it in order to stay in business and to not only survive but thrive.

That’s why Auto Glass Week is for you. More than 50 events grace this year’s program including educational seminars, demonstrations, a trade show full of new and important products and services and the competitions for the world’s top in their field. You won’t want to miss it. And with our expanded AGW@Home program, you don’t need to.

Auto Glass Week will be held Jan 12-14 in Orlando. The Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) has been hosting groups since August and they have been successful and safe. The Rosen has enhanced safety protocols in place and the OCCC has been awarded the important GBAC STAR™ accreditation for outbreak prevention, response and recovery. Recognized as the gold standard for healthy venues, GBAC STAR™ provides third party validation of bio-risk prevention. The hotel and convention center are connected by a sky bridge as well and the event will also follow the CDC guidelines in place in January. Orlando is also a great place for open air dining if you prefer—even in January. So we feel good about the protocols in place for our meeting.

Nonetheless, we recognize there are some people who will not feel safe traveling to the event. So for this year we are excited to announce the premier of Auto Glass Week AGW@Home. Attendees will be able to go to the educational seminars, visit trade show booths and chat with sponsors, attend demos and the competitions—all from home. We are excited about this new type of registration. The virtual event platform gives you the look, feel and interaction of the live show.

Not sure which to choose? You can sign up for the live or AGW@home event, and change your registration type until January 4th, so you don’t have to make that final decision yet.

But one final decision you will want to make is to come—whether live or virtually. You can now participate in Auto Glass Week from anywhere in the world.

The education is so critical, the challenges ahead of us so great that you will not want to miss a single minute.

We look forward to seeing you in January.
