AGSC Programs AGSC Directory 2024

AGSC Registered Member Company Program

The AGSC Registered Member Company program is designed for companies that install automotive glass. Through this program, automotive glass replacement companies differentiate themselves from others in the industry by replacing automotive glass according to the current ANSI/AGSC/AGRSS™ Standard and by proving this through extensive on-site validation audits performed on a regular basis. All AGSC Registered Member Companies are listed on www.safewindshields.org, AGSC’s consumer locater service.

AGSC Technician Accreditation Program

The AGSC Certified Technician program accredits auto glass replacement technicians and master technicians through comprehensive testing and a continuing education training program. To be accredited, auto glass technicians must show proficiency in their knowledge of OSHA regulations, all types of auto glass replacement, NAGS and custom cut laminated glass parts. AGSC Certified Master Auto Glass Technicians must also show proficiency in conducting all installations according to the current AGRSS Standard; intermediate level automotive electrical testing and troubleshooting procedures and equipment; OEM sunroof repair and replacement techniques; advanced wind noise and water leak diagnosis and repair; current standards and regulations that apply to the auto glass industry; custom cutting and finishing of automotive laminated glass; and an understanding of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The AGSC Qualified Technician and Qualified Master Technician accreditations educate nonmembers.

AGSC Associate Member Program

AGSC Associate Members are companies that are suppliers to the industry that do not install automotive glass but that wish to show their support for AGSC and affirm the importance of the AGRSS Standard to the auto glass industry.

AGSC Insurance Company Member Program

AGSC Insurance Company Members are insurance companies and agents that wish to show their support for AGSC and AGSC Registered Member Companies and affirm the importance of the AGRSS Standard to their policyholders and the auto glass industry.

AGSC Collective Member Program

The AGSC Collective Member program is open to companies that contractually authorize independent companies to use their trademark if and only if these participating companies adhere to certain operational standards and obligations. Through this program, automotive glass replacement companies contractually authorized by the Collective Member receive a discount on the registration dues for AGSC membership.

AGSC Registered Training and Continuing Education Program

The AGSC offers an AGSC Registered training program, as well as an external continuing education training program, to assist auto glass replacement companies in finding courses that are conducted in compliance with the AGRSS Standard. To qualify, training program developers must submit the elements of their training programs to the AGSC for review and the AGSC must determine that the programs comply with the AGRSS Standard.
