1 Judge Says Auto Glass Anti-Trust Case Will Continue

O.E.M. Glass Network and Brooklyn Wholesale Glass (OEMGN), operating collectively as Brooklyn Wholesale, accused Mygrant Glass Company of trying to put them out of business by way of an “illegal” agreement. A New York District judge denied motions for summary judgment in the case, paving the way for the dispute to head to trial.

2 ADAS Calibration a Billion-Dollar Industry

In analyzing more than 10,000 windshield lookups, the windshield lookup service AutoBolt estimates that there should have been 3.8 million ADAS calibrations in the auto glass industry in 2022. According to the report’s findings, that translates to an addressable market of $959 million just in the auto glass industry.

3 Belron Reports Sales Increase for 2022, Sets 2023 Predictions

D’Ieteren Group recently presented its full-year 2022 results, which include financial data from Belron, owner of Safelite AutoGlass. With Belron’s total sales increasing by 20% to nearly $6 billion and by 20.7% from continuing operations, the company saw a “slightly” better operating margin of 18.2% despite inflationary pressures and supply chain issues.
